Rio Vista
Resort is the perfect setting for a family reunion, a romantic weekend, or a
business retreat. Located on beautiful lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country, Rio
Vista has villas, cottages, a large and beautiful lake house and R/V sites. There are also boat lifts, a boat
ramp, a fabulous swimming pool and a relaxing hot tub, a recreation room and gorgeous
views, but best of all, at Rio Vista you'll always find a friendly smile and
courteous service.
Our
lake
house, the Llano, is located adjacent to our resort on the most beautiful
waterfront you can image. It has a large, lush lawn and a porch with a
commanding view of the lake. The house is tastefully decorated in a Southwestern
style, and is equipped with every convenience for the perfect holiday. There are beds for
up to 10 people, and plenty of room for family fun.

Villas are all
located within 200 feet of the most active part of lake LBJ, where the Llano
and Colorado rivers converge. They all have patios or porches with magnificent
lake views, and all sleep between 2 and 8 people. Each villa is decorated in a
different and unique European or American style, with all the conveniences of

Most R/V
sites are within 200 feet of the lake, on shady lots with easy access to the
water. Many are located near the swimming pool and the recreation room. There
are picnic tables and barbeque pits throughout the park. Of course all sites
have full hook-ups and can accommodate large rigs. Click here to

There is
always plenty to do at Rio Vista. You can swim in the lake, or in the heated
swimming pool. You can water ski, jet ski, play games, feed the ducks, or fish
from the covered pier. There is a pool table and a
wonderfully relaxing hot tub. Click here for more information

In the
winter, when the "Winter Texans" arrive, a different type of fun begins with pot
luck dinners and brunches, bingo and parties. There are always activities at the
Senior Center, which is only two blocks away. The Chamber also gets involved
with monthly appreciation dinners, complete with entertainment and prizes.

The area
around Kingsland is full of interesting sites and fun activities. There are
seven golf courses within five miles of Rio Vista. The Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch
is thirty miles away. Longhorn Caverns are just five miles away, and there are
four of the Highland Lakes within ten miles. Austin, the State Capital is sixty miles away, and historic
