There are three lake houses at Rio Vista. The Colorado is the newest and largest with a huge living area and porch, and beds for 16 people. The Llano is a beautiful lake house with a large, lovely living area and porch, and beds for 10 people. The San Antonio, a slightly smaller, older house, is much less expensive. However, it also has a large, beautiful living area, a lovely porch and beds for 8 people. Any of the three will provide a perfect vacation retreat for any group. Each is described in more detail below: first the Colorado, followed by the Llano, and last but not least, the San Antonio.
The Colorado Lake House
The
Colorado Lake House, located right on the most beautiful part of Lake LBJ, has four bedrooms and three baths. There is
comfortable sleeping for 16 people, and as you can see the view is incredible.
The Colorado is right in the heart of the resort with easy access to all
the amenities, swimming pool, boat docks, playground, pool table, etc. Plus, the
Colorado has many amenities of its own; the best of which is the large patio
overlooking the lake.
The
kitchen is large, with modern,
upscale appliances and a great lake
view. The kitchen comes complete with an oversized refrigerator, a full oven,
trash compactor and
dishwasher and everything you need to move in and enjoy. There is also a
washer/dryer
set in the laundry room. In the great room, there is a huge dining
table which easily seats 12 people.
There are
four bedrooms.
In one loft there is a bedroom with a private bath, a
king bed, a futon, a love seat and a private balcony with absolutely the best view on Lake LBJ. In the other loft there is a bedroom with a king bed and a single bed. This
room is also large and lovely. The master suite has a king bed and a futon in an
extremely large room. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed. It is
not quite as large, but it is lovely. There is also a futon in the living room.
That makes beds for 16 people in this very large, beautiful house with an
eclectic, Southwest decor.
Near the entry is a fountain and pond with fish. As you enter the house you'll find seventeen foot ceilings in the living area, huge windows overlooking the lake, and a stone fireplace. There is a large sofa, a futon and plenty of chairs. The back of the house opens on to the large, private patio with comfortable seating and an outside dining table. The Llano Lake House
And then there's the Llano - here you see the view on a peaceful afternoon from the porch of the Llano Lake House. This house provides a great deal of privacy, but is located adjacent to all of the resort amenities: heated swimming pool, recreation room, boat lifts, fishing pier, etc. The Llano has a large porch and a lush lawn leading to the dock and the lake. It is the perfect combination for family enjoyment.
The
kitchen is large, with modern, upscale Kitchen Aide appliances and a great lake
view. The kitchen comes complete with an oversized refrigerator, a full oven and
dishwasher and everything you need to move in and enjoy. There is also a bistro
set in the kitchen overlooking the lake. In the great room, there is a huge dining
table which easily seats 12 people.
There
are three bedrooms in the Llano. In the master wing, there is a large bedroom with a king
size bed and a futon. There is also a large, private bath. Of course, all of the
baths have hair dryers and amenities such as shampoo and soap. The other two
bedrooms have queen beds and there is another full bath in this wing. With the
sofa bed in the living room, there are comfortable beds for ten people in this
large, beautiful house with its attractive Southwestern decor.
In the
living section of the great room, you will find cathedral ceilings, french
doors, plenty of windows facing the lake, and a wonderful, stone fireplace.
There are two large sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. Skylights complete the
comfortable and airy atmosphere. One set of french doors serve as the main
entrance from the street, but the other set opens on to the large porch with
swing, outside dining table and several chairs. This porch has the most
beautiful lake view you will ever see. You can't help but love this house!

The San Antonio Lake House
The San Antonio is
the newest addition to Rio
Vista, and a very welcome one. It is a less expensive alternative to our other
lake houses, a slightly smaller, older house with beds for 8 people, yet all the
advantages of the other houses. The San Antonio has a wonderful location, right
next to the Llano and adjacent to the resort with all of its amenities: heated
swimming pool, recreation room, boat lifts, fishing pier, etc. It ha
s
a large porch, and the most beautiful waterfront on Lake LBJ. It is very private
and has plenty of play room for a
large family.
As
a bonus, the San Antonio is set up to accommodate small pets.
The house has
been upgraded several times. It has a nice long living area with a full size
sofa at one end and a sofa bed at the other. It has a comfortable, modern
kitchen
with all the conveniences and amenities of the larger lake houses, except a
dishwasher. The dining ta
ble
expands to accommodate at least 8 people. There
are two beautiful bedrooms and two baths.
The master
bedroom has a king size bed
and
a
sofa
bed.
The second bedroom
has a queen bed. There are new tile floors everywhere, except in the master
bedroom where there are hard wood floors. And central air conditioning has
recently been installed. The most important thing we need to tell you about the
the San Antonio
is that it's cute and comfortable, and the perfect place for a family vacation.

We regret that, except for the San Antonio, the Guadalupe and the Rio Grande, we cannot accommodate pets in our houses or villas, and the insides of all of our properties are non-smoking, although all houses and villas have porches or decks outside which provide a comfortable area for smokers.
Cancellation Policy: For all rentals, there will be a 10% deposit due at the time of the reservation. This deposit (less a $10 processing fee) will be refunded with any cancellation made with more than 30 days notice. Full payment will be due for any unit cancelled with less than 7 days notice.
